On Saturday, October 4, Cult of Yes will be performing in a dance show in Montreal called CINIS ET LUX (Ashes and Light).

This show is an ode to rebirth. An exploration of everything that begins, draws first breath, sprouts, grows, heals, regenerates, resurrects, renews, rises.

Like the Phoenix reborn from its ashes, like Persephone emerging from the underworld for spring, like the Scarab creating fertile soil from decaying matter, tonight, we invite you to explore darkness as an instigator of light.

TribalLY YOURS 2025

The Tribally Yours Festival is coming on November 22 and 23 in Longueil.

The Festival offers 6 diverse workshops with 7 acclaimed teachers, as well as a dance show. The workshops will be on Saturday and Sunder at Studio A of Cégep Édouard-Montpetit. Address: 945, chemin de Chambly, Longueuil, QC, Canada.

The show will be on Saturday evening, November 22, at salle Lassonde in Cégep Édouard-Montpetit. Address: 945, chemin de Chambly, Longueuil, QC, Canada (in the same building as the workshops).

Cult of Yes will be performing in the show and will also be teaching a dance workshop on Saturday morning.

The Weirding: Strange Dance for Strange People

We love the classics, but we mostly love making dances that are odd, unsettling, and outside the fusion bellydance norm. In this workshop, we’ll explore ways to find fresh and unusual shapes, and we’ll learn a few expressive combos that are ready to be customized to your particular brand of bizarre. Dance is a super fun frontier when you set fire to the limits you’ve placed on yourself, so let’s get that spark going.

This class is great for dancers looking to bust out of a dance rut, folks who want to develop their creativity and unique voice, and for badasses who are supremely unconcerned with rules.
